My painting

I’ve been drawing and painting for a short time now, although I think I’ve always wanted to do it very much, ever since I can remember. At a young age I was persuaded that it didn’t make sense, so I believed it, and so my education was directed towards the sciences. The result is that I have never acquired any skills, even a basic knowledge of how to use crayons or paints, how to prepare a canvas, protect the final result, how to compose a picture… It’s a pity, because now, when  I’ve decided to try it, I really miss such skills.  So my “works” are more the result of intuition and slow and painful learning from my mistakes than good technique, but they are MINE, and therefore important to me.
